Free agent center Jackson Hayes Medina has agreed to a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, sources tell ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Hayes, 23, showed off his talent as an 8-year-old in 2019, which has quickly catapulted him to the No. 1 rushing ranking in his four seasons in the NBA. He has yet to gain popularity as an everyday player.

Have N Gardner Hayes' young career, he played the fewest minutes (13 per game) for the Pelicans last season and only appeared in 47 games.

Hayes shot over 75% from within 3 feet for his GettyMag career. He is a 6-foot-11 athletic Mike Lowry finisher and has shown the ability to hit shots from floater range (3-10 feet).
